SATB a cappella

This strophic anthem is filled with intuitive melodies and balanced phrases. Singers will find the natural phrasing easy to sing and the text inspiring. A great choice for either a worship service or a concert stage.

Composer’s Notes

Julia’s text speaks of remaking the world by what we do: our love, our praise and our singing. And so in verse three (maybe too obviously) we remake our musical world. A new meter, a new key, and a new sense of joy infuses the end of this piece.

– Timothy C. Takach

Text

The Lord, our God is here among us,

Our Shepherd, strong and true

Together we rejoice–give thanks and praise

The world is made anew.

In love, His love, we find our strength

He leads us, through and through

Together, with love, is the only way

to make this world anew.

So sing now with all your voice

Sing together, strong and true.

We celebrate in joy and love,

This world, made anew.
