This emotional piece observes the journey from the turmoil of grief to a renewing hope. Light shines through dark clouds to usher forth joy despite our despair. Supported by luxurious harmonies and textures, the melodies transition from a longing siren to a buoyant and energetic joyful “Alleluia.” It concludes in joy with just a realistic hint of the once-observed yet never forgotten grief.
