Composer’s Notes
In Cantus, we had sung a few different versions of “Salvation is Created” by Pavel Chesnokov, and always found a detail we liked in one arrangement and another detail from another arrangement. I finally sat down and went back to his SATB score and made a new arrangement that included all the things we liked about the piece. We recorded this version in 2006 on our eponymous album, “Cantus.”
