An accessible, 4-part mantra for peace— МИР 3APA3 — “Peace, Now.” Piano accompaniment included, but may be sung a cappella. Beginning in a soothing unison, it soars into a demand for peace. Composed contemporaneously with the war in Ukraine (March 2022) as a vessel to hold collective grief and to feel in solidarity with brothers and sisters in Ukraine and with those suffering anywhere in the world where violence dominates human discourse.
