In this arrangement of the famous folk song, the melody stays in unison for most of the song, while the graceful piano line keeps the motion moving forward. A two-part section offers some harmony which Takach uses to paint the text wonderfully. It is a great piece for a talented group of young singers, or as a duet, with the two singers trading verses.
