Commissioned by California Choral Directors Association for the 2026 All-State Honor Choirs (High School SATB), directed by Dr. Sandra Snow.

Next Stop is inspired by the planes, trains, subways, and cars that have taken me to many memorable choral events. The text features announcements and printed signs that one might encounter in those situations:

Objects in the mirror are closer than they appear.
Slow down.
Watch your step.
Mind the gap.
