SATB Chorus with Divisi & Piano

Commissioned by Mark L. Stamper and INSPIRARE, “If I Could Give” gives advice on how to live a fulfilled life. One must dig through one’s dreams to find the most important and meaningful moments to keep and cherish. By holding on to those moments we create a crown of jewels symbolizing a well lived life full of meaning and purpose. This work features a cinematic piano accompaniment as well as a soaring cello line. The melodic lines are shared between all parts of the chorus while delivering a harmonious wave of sound that emulates the message of the text. This is a wonderful centerpiece of any program themed around life, death, and the meaning of living.
