Breathe on Me, a work commissioned for the National Lutheran Choir during the latter half of 2020, attempts to encapsulate what breath meant to those affected by Covid-19, injustice, and more. The piece is constructed for different performance needs, and can be performed a cappella with a secondary small ensemble or with the pre-recorded track. Composer’s Notes
Depending on how you perform the piece, consider the audience above all. Make sure they can hear the choir with the track, if using it, or make sure there’s a balance between the main choir and the smaller ensemble.
